Never Give Up

When things go wrong as they sometimes will

and the road you’re trudging seems all up hill

when the funds are low and the debts are high

and you would love to smile but you can only sigh

when care is pressing down on you a bit

rest if you must but never quit

for life is strange with its twist and turns

as everyone of us sometimes learns

and many a failure turns about

when he might have won

had he had stuck it out.

success is failure turned inside out

the silver lining of the cloud of doubt

so keep up the pace when the race seems slow

you may succeed with one more blow
